Donkey is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Princess Fiona) of the Shrek franchise.
He is Shrek's best friend, Dragon's husband, and the Dronkeys' father. Because he talks (seemingly without end), Shrek's catchphrase became "DONKEY!"
He is voiced by comedian Eddie Murphy.
