Shrek is the titular main protagonist of the DreamWorks animated franchise of the same name (based on the late William Steig's eponymous book) and a minor character of the 2022 film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
He is a gigantic, green-skinned, brash and intimidating ogre with a Scottish accent who initially lived alone in a desolate swamp, feared by villagers. This changes when he is sent on a quest by Lord Farquaad to save Princess Fiona from a dragon.
He is voiced by Mike Myers .
